What Role You Will Play In Our Team The role of a Terminal Operator is to provide the functional, day-to-day support and surveillance of unit operating equipment. The Terminal Operator must master an effective working knowledge of safe work practices, essential preventative and mitigative safeguards applicable to their assigned unit, potential process hazards and their effective barriers, emergency response procedures, and key operating envelopes for their equipment. Terminal Operators are the front-line workers that help protect our People, Equipment, Assets, and Reputation. In addition to a strict Operations Excellence / Process Safety mindset for unit operations, Terminal Operators will often be required to safely isolate parts of the unit, prepare equipment for mechanical work, manage the potential energy, chemical, and environmental risks associated with these temporary configurations, and then safely return equipment to service in a coordinated fashion to minimize process upsets or other risks from manifesting into hazardous consequences. What You Will Do Completing daily site verification and compliance tasks Coordinate product pipeline receipts into the terminal Perform product quality sampling and testing Safely and efficiently offloading fuel trucks and railcars Supporting ongoing site maintenance,



miscellaneous tasks and repair activities Overseeing and supporting contractors on site and site project work Maintaining effective, reliable and efficient operation while ensuring all work is done safely according to the Imperial’s policies This posting is for an existing vacancy. About You Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required. Other trade certification and/or qualifications may be an asset. Preferred Qualifications/ Experience Valid class 5 driver’s license and a safe driving record are required. This position is designated as Safety Sensitive under the company’s Alcohol & Drug policy and will require successful pre-employment certification process. The expected hourly rate for this position is $39.58 - $50.03. Individual pay will be determined based on various factors, which may include skills, abilities, qualifications, work experience, and education.
