Securiguard is currently hiring Full-Time Security Guards for our Squamish operations. If you're dependable, professional, and committed to providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll help maintain a safe and secure environment while serving as a visible presence for our client. You'll work independently and as part of a team, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and ensuring site policies are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular patrols of buildings, parking areas, and site perimeters to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Monitor access points by verifying identification, controlling entry, and enforcing site procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with directions and general inquiries.
- Complete scheduled equipment inspections and document the condition and location of site assets.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, medical incidents, and security concerns in a calm and professional manner.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
- Monitor CCTV systems and investigate suspicious activity when required.
- Perform routine inspections of fencing, gates, and other security infrastructure.
- Maintain effective radio communication with supervisors and team members throughout each shift.
- Identify and report safety concerns, hazards, equipment issues, or policy violations.




- Assist during emergency situations, including evacuations and first-response procedures.
- Follow all company policies, client expectations, and site-specific operating procedures.

Qualifications

- Valid BC Security Worker Licence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and conducting patrols throughout the shift.
- Comfortable using computers and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic First Aid certification is considered an asset.
- Previous security experience is preferred but not required.
