MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Junior Desktop Support and Windows 11 Migration Technician for a part-time role in downtown Vancouver. This 3-month contract (22.5 hours weekly) involves direct user support and equipment deployment.
As a technician, you'll primarily assist with Windows 10 and 11, deploying laptops and troubleshooting issues. Experience in IT ticketing systems and scheduling user appointments are crucial aspects of this role. Your work will significantly impact daily user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Windows 10 and Windows 11 support tasks
• Deploy and configure laptops for end users
• Troubleshoot hardware such as laptops and docking stations
• Install and troubleshoot required software packages
• Schedule user appointments to streamline upgrades
Requirements:
• Solid experience in Windows 10 and 11 administration
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot a plus
• Networking skills required for trouble resolution
• In office work required Tuesday to Thursday only
• Experience with Apple products preferred
