This position is in Lower Mainland, BC and does not have camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance. This is a 5 and 2 schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Responsibilities Build forms for concrete Cut, shape, and join Look for and fix deficiencies Building of hoarding and other temporary structures Checks accuracy of work,



and makes adjustments as required Studies blueprints for work planning Constructs and forms chutes for pouring concrete Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level Acts as a work leader and mentors to apprentice carpenters Informs immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures General site upkeep Minimum Requirements Preference will be given to a candidate that has a Carpenter Journeyperson Ticket or is a Registered Carpenter Apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade Experience with concrete formwork required Certifications: CSTS & WHMIS Fall Protection is an asset Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Jardeg is the largest recruiter of skilled trades in Canada, annually supporting approximately 10 million hours of work and providing recruitment services for 10,000+ people. #J-18808-Ljbffr
