RVA is seeking a Senior Engineer for our Water team in a full‑time permanent position.DutiesProvide project engineering and technical expertise, review hydraulic calculations, analysis, and design services for various water/wastewater treatment facilitiesManage water/wastewater projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and client relationshipsProvide senior review and professional authentication of memos, reports, drawings, and other engineering documentsPrepare conceptual, preliminary, and final process designs of wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, equalization tanks, outfallsLead studies and Class EAs for water and wastewater projectsPrepare proposals and reportsLiaise with clients, consultants, regulatory agencies, utility companies, and contractorsLead and participate in business development initiativesPlan projects, develop accurate scopes of work, project plans, schedules, and deliverables to execute high‑quality projects on time and on budgetMentor and coach project teams, including technical and field staffSupervise junior engineers, technologists, and designersPerform other duties as assigned and appropriate for this positionQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical EngineeringLicensed as a Qualified Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario15+ years progressive experience in water and wastewater engineering, with at least 10 years in a consultancyDemonstrated abilities in multidisciplinary project teamwork and coordinationProficient in all design activities: studies, functional and detailed drawings and reports, contract document preparation, tendering, construction administration, and commissioningThorough knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial regulationsExperience meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, business/client development,
