Customer-Focused RV and Auto Service Advisor

Location: 3165 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg MB

Compensation: $45,000-$50,000 per year

Responsibilities

- Ascertain auto services by listening to customers’ description of symptoms, clarifying problems, conducting inspections, taking test drives, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules.
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers, explaining provisions and exclusions.
- Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labour; calculating customers’ payment, including deductibles.
- Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering the RO into the service database system.
- Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of the vehicle; obtaining customers’ approval of estimates; providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation.
- Maintain accurate records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading manufacturers’ publications.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Excellent customer service skills.
- Minimum 1‑2 years as a service advisor,



or in a related customer‑service role.
- RV experience.
- Dealership experience considered a major asset.
- Valid G Driver’s License.
- Able to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
