About Island Gold District: Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District will become one of the largest and lowest‑cost gold mines in Canada. UNDERGROUND CERTIFIED ELECTRICIAN

Primary Responsibilities:

- Work on new installation, troubleshoot and repairs as required
- Read, understand, and interpret prints and electrical codes
- Work with soft start and variable speed drives
- Inspect equipment and repair/replace defective parts, components or systems according to scopes of work
- Identify additional repairs, compile parts and labour estimates, and communicate to supervisor
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operational performance




- Troubleshoot electrical systems including electrical mobile equipment, power distribution, leaky feeder (communication systems), PLC, motor controls and any other work as assigned
- Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, parts listings and submit drawing revisions
- Work on High Voltage
- Electrical and mechanical installations of sub‑stations
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

- Must be an Ontario Licensed Electrician
- 3–4 years experience in similar functions
- Basic knowledge of mechanics and electricity
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to work fluctuating schedules

Working Conditions:

- 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
- Travel allowance provided, varies based on distance from the mine site in Dubreuilville, Ontario
- Meals and accommodation provided while working at site
- Pay or shift range: $45.60 CAD to $58.57 CAD

Compensation Note: The compensation range for this role is intended to support transparency and informed decision making. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience and internal equity.
