and systems that enable consistent, efficient operations; Delegate operational leadership to the SEC, while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.External Relations & AdvocacyServe as the primary external representative of OAHS with governments, funders, Indigenous partners, and sector stakeholders; Advocate for Urban/ Rural Indigenous housing priorities and participate in policy dialogue and system-level initiatives; Build and sustain collaborative relationships that advance OAHS’s strategic and community goals.Representation & AccountabilityAct as an Officer of the Corporation and fulfill fiduciary and statutory obligations under applicable legislation; Represent OAHSat provincial, national, and international forums, or delegate representation as appropriate.Qualifications & ExperienceUniversity degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related discipline; Extensive senior leadership experience in a complex organization; Strong understanding of the diversity of Indigenous cultures, with a demonstrated commitment to Indigenous-led approaches; Proven experience in strategic leadership, financial oversight, and governance; Demonstrated ability to lead executive teams and influence organizational culture; Excellent communication, relationship-building, and advocacy skills; High standardsof integrity, accountability, and professionalism; Experience in social housing, community development, or a related public-interest sector is considered an asset; Strong knowledge of federal, provincial, and municipal housing programs and funding, transfer payment agreements, contribution agreements, covenants, operating subsidies, and how policy shifts impact long-term viability; Solid working knowledge of construction financing, loan terms, debt service ratio (DSR), contingencies, refinancing risk, balance sheets and asset management.Conditions of EmploymentAbility to travel extensively; Flexibility toworkvaried hours as required; Valid CriminalRecord Check (CPIC); Valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle; Must be bondable, if required.We thank all candidates who choose to apply, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
