LOFT is also recognized as a Nonprofit Employer of Choice™ Award (NEOC) recipient.Job SummaryReporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, administration, and optimization of LOFT’s hybrid IT environment — with a primary focus on the Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform). The role includes managing cloud and on-prem infrastructure, identity and access management, endpoint security, disaster recovery, and system automation. The Systems Administrator ensures LOFT’s systems are secure, reliable, and continuously improving in alignment with organizational goals.What You Will DoMicrosoft Cloud InfrastructureAdminister and optimize Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, Defender, Purview)Manage Azure AD / Entra ID, conditional access, single sign-on, and hybrid identity synchronizationImplement and maintain Microsoft Intune for device management, compliance, and application deploymentLead initiatives to improve data protection, governance, and DLP policies across M365 and AzureSupport automation through PowerShell scripting and Power Platform toolsInfrastructure & SystemsManage and monitor virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or Azure Virtual Machines) and backup systems (Veeam or equivalent)Maintain hybrid infrastructure including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, EntraImplement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud and on-prem systemsSecurity & MonitoringDeploy and maintain endpoint protection, patching, and encryption (e.G., Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne, or similar)Monitor infrastructure and cloud services using tools like Azure Monitor,



or SentinelInvestigate and remediate security alerts related to InfrastructureCollaborate with IT management to continuously strengthen LOFT’s cyber resilience posture as it relates to Infrastructure & end-user devicesSupport & CollaborationProvide Tier 2 & 3 technical support and mentorship to IT service desk staffDevelop technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articlesContribute to IT projects using project management best practices and coordinate with internal and vendor teamsParticipate in after-hours maintenance or incident response as neededThe System Administrator will be expected to provide end-user support and coverage for the Networking and Cyber Security functions as neededWhat You Bring6+ years of hands-on experience in systems and cloud administration within a Microsoft-centric environmentExpertise in:Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Defender, Intune)Azure AD / Entra ID, conditional access, identity governanceWindows Server 2016–2022 and Active DirectoryPowerShell scripting and automationExperience with VMware or Hyper-V, Veeam, and hybrid backup/DR solutionsFamiliarity with ITIL or equivalent service management frameworksExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skillsStrong documentation discipline and ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly languagePostsecondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldCertifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, M365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or CompTIA Server+/Network+Strong interpersonal skillsThe ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and non-technical wayGood problem-solving skills and the ability to bring the necessary skills and resources to a problemAbility to create and maintain clear and detailed technical documentationWork EnvironmentStandard 40-hour work week,
