Business Efficiency & AI Automation Lead (Contract)

About Us

Peak Performance Products is a fast-growing Canadian distribution company in the health, wellness, and promotional products industry. We operate a highly customized NetSuite environment supporting ERP, WMS, CRM, EDI, warehouse operations, reporting, and integrations across the business.

With approximately 80 employees operating from our centralized distribution facility in Mississauga, we are at a stage where significant efficiency improvements are within reach. We are looking for an experienced AI professional to help us identify and implement practical automation solutions that create measurable business value.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced AI Integration Lead to work with us on a project or contract basis. Your focus will be to identify, design, and implement AI-driven efficiencies across our business operations.

This is not a software implementation role. We are not replacing our systems. We are looking for someone who can understand how our business operates, identify inefficient processes, and implement AI solutions that reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and increase productivity.

While experience with NetSuite is considered a strong asset, the successful candidate does not need to be a NetSuite developer. We are looking for someone who can quickly understand our environment, collaborate with our internal teams, and recommend practical solutions that deliver lasting results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery sessions with department leaders to understand current workflows and operational challenges.

• Map business processes across operations, warehouse,



finance, sales, and customer service.

• Identify manual, repetitive, and error-prone tasks suitable for AI automation or process improvement.

• Prioritize opportunities based on business impact, implementation effort, and return on investment.

• Design practical AI and automation solutions that integrate with or complement our existing systems.

• Evaluate appropriate AI technologies, automation platforms, and intelligent workflow tools.

• Build implementation roadmaps and oversee solution deployment.

• Collaborate with our internal IT Manager and external NetSuite consulting team throughout implementation.

• Train employees and support user adoption of new AI-enabled processes.

• Develop documentation and standard operating procedures.

• Establish performance metrics to measure efficiency improvements and business outcomes.

• Recommend future AI initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

Required

• Proven experience implementing AI or automation solutions that improved business efficiency.

• Strong business process analysis skills with the ability to quickly understand complex operations.

• Hands-on experience with AI automation tools, workflow automation platforms, or intelligent process automation.





• Experience working within ERP environments.

• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.

• Robust communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams.

Preferred

• Experience with NetSuite or other cloud ERP platforms such as SAP Business One, Sage Intacct, or Acumatica.

• Experience in distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.

• Familiarity with AI solutions for finance, reporting, inventory, forecasting, or document automation.

• Experience with low-code or no-code automation platforms such as Power Automate, Zapier, or Make.

• Consulting, business analysis, or operations leadership experience.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 30 to 60 days, you will have completed a comprehensive assessment of our business processes and presented a prioritized roadmap of AI opportunities.

By the end of the engagement, you will have delivered practical AI solutions that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, streamline operations, and position our team to continue expanding AI capabilities.
