Our client, a well-established civil construction and industrial services contractor with a strong presence across Western Canada, is seeking an Intermediate–Senior Proposal Specialist to join their Estimating team. This is a remote role within British Columbia for an experienced proposal professional capable of leading complex submissions, shaping win strategies, and supporting continuous improvement of proposal systems and processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end proposal process from RFP release through final submission, managing timelines, deliverables, and internal stakeholders. Review solicitation documents and develop compliance matrices, response frameworks, and detailed submission schedules. Write and edit high-quality proposal content, including technical approaches, methodologies, execution plans, management plans, and executive summaries. Coordinate inputs from estimating, operations, leadership, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure accurate, compelling, and compliant submissions. Oversee proposal formatting, branding, and quality control to ensure a consistent and professional standard. Maintain and enhance proposal templates, tools, resumes, project sheets, and content libraries. Support win strategy development, lessons learned reviews, and post-submission debriefs to improve future submissions. Identify opportunities to improve proposal efficiency, storytelling quality, and overall competitiveness. Ideal Candidate Requirements:



4+ years of experience leading or coordinating construction proposals, RFPs, or bid submissions in civil, infrastructure, mining, industrial, or related sectors. Strong experience writing technical and executive proposal content with minimal oversight. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent submissions under tight deadlines. Experience partnering closely with estimating, project teams, and leadership on pursuit strategy. Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, business, communications, or a related field preferred. High attention to detail with strong written communication and editing capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam or similar document tools considered an asset. Self-directed, organized, and comfortable working in a remote environment with accountability for deadlines and quality. Based in British Columbia and legally eligible to work in Canada.
