This is a field-based role covering Southern Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Job Purpose/Overview

The Equipment Account Manager brings a high level of value to Antech’s full service diagnostic solution in the veterinary industry. The objective of this role is to meet or exceed sales revenue targets by positioning and selling Sound Imaging diagnostic equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, laser and CT systems. Through a team approach, the Equipment Account Manager will partner with the region’s Diagnostics Sales Managers to assist in creating and developing lab opportunities that build a full diagnostic solution for veterinary customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Identify, qualify and close business leads and sales opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Prospect, forecast, and drive recent business opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the target market and about Antech‑Sound’s products and services.
- Demonstrate products with and without live animals and effectively communicate corporate and product positioning to prospective customers.
- Work closely with new and existing industry partners.
- Document data for all activities in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with the Sales team regarding lead generation activities.
- Represent Antech‑Sound professionally in the territory and at regional and national tradeshows.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with clients and team members.
- Use computer programs to manage daily business activities and communication through CRM and Microsoft Office.




- Deliver timely completion of required reports including pipeline, forecast and expense.
- Develop and align plans to support business strategies and translate objectives into action plans.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of diagnostic imaging sales experience.
- Working knowledge of the veterinary and/or clinical diagnostic environment.
- Demonstrated experience with consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals.
- Experience building a pipeline; qualifying and identifying deals to close.

- Ability to work in a flexible environment with demanding schedules and extensive travel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and CRM.
- Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals.
- Effective communication with all levels of the organization in person,



over phone and video conferencing.
- Adaptability to a fast‑changing and complex setting.
- Maintenance of confidentiality and appropriate usage of confidential information.
- Organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Insurability and maintenance of a valid driver’s license.
- Travel by vehicle up to 85% of the time within the assigned territory, including overnight travel.
- Ability to drive up to four hours consecutively; overnight travel required.

Travel

This position requires extensive travel within the assigned territories, up to 85% of the time. Overnight travel is required for up to four hours of consecutive driving per trip.

Working Conditions

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. They may sit for extended periods, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. They may be required to hear and speak to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office or virtual environment. They may occasionally sit and stoop, bend, kneel or crouch. They must sometimes lift and/or move up to 50 pounds for equipment demonstrations. The work environment is typically in an office or remote home office, with moderate noise levels. The associate will use a computer, spreadsheets, database management, email, video conferencing and the Internet. They may use a calculator; fax, copy machine and phone system. They may occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
