The role of the Real Estate Manager will be:To negotiate all business terms for real estate transactions including offer to lease, amendments, retail leases and renewals for the company’s various brands.To research, gather information including market intelligence on new sites and areas of development for the company’s various brands.Must be knowledgeable with national and regional landlords for street front, office,



enclosed malls, and outdoor shopping centre locations.Maintain and develop relationships with the landlord community.Professionally represent MTY by attending various industry, landlord and leasing eventsNegotiate relocations, closures, rent reductions and/or expansion of existing unitsPlanification of strategic brand expansion while coordinating with different Band ManagersSet and attain yearly objectives for brand expansionCoordinate and maintain relationships with MTY’s brokers, consultants, and different Brand LeadersResponsible for the coordination of all leasing documentation with the Legal department for proper executionResponsible for the coordination with the Franchising Team for different brands to ensure proper execution of appropriate documentationCoordinate with the construction team to resolve issues relating to construction delays, lease possessions and commencement datesAbility to travel from time to time for the realization of the above-mentioned duties and responsibilitiesKey Skills RequiredOrganization and planningTime managementSelf‑motivatedNegotiationsAbility to multi‑task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business requirements in a team environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteQualificationsThe successful candidate will preferably have at least 3 years of commercial real estate experiencePost‑secondary level or equivalent experience.Please note that any offer of employment will be conditional upon a background check, including a criminal record check.#J-18808-Ljbffr
