Job Title: Estimating/Bidding Advisor On-site/ Remote/ Hybrid: Onsite Location: Hamilton, ON Job Type: Permanent Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 annually Responsibilities: Lead a team of junior estimators - delegate tasks and review work Review RFQ documents for risks and opportunities Develop BOM's Labour hour estimates and subcontractor scopes and pricing Liaise with cross-functional departments (engineering, procurement, operations, finance) to develop estimates Review subcontractor and material quotes for accuracy and completeness (risks and opportunities) Support operations with change order quotations (as requested) Develop preliminary project schedules with cross-functional teams (HR, Operations, planning, etc.) Generate and submit proposals and manage proposal deliverables Requirements: Background in ship repair, shipbuilding, heavy marine, or offshore O&G Demonstrate experience in dry docking projects, steel renewals, machinery installation and overhaul,



complex refits Foundation in marine engineering or naval architecture Advanced Excel workforce & cost modelling Business Central or equivalent ERP systems Strong understanding of steel grades, marine coatings, propulsion systems, and electrical systems AutoCAD Strong understanding of class, PSPC, CCG, and DND requirements Duke Marine Technical Services Canada Inc. is proud to be an Equal Chance Employer.
