Role Overview
Jardeg is recruiting for Steamfitter / Pipefitter Journeyperson to work with Woodland Constructors Ltd at the SaskPower Aspen Site in Lanigan, Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements
- Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machine
- Select type and size of pipe required
- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
- Weld, braze, cement, solder,
and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
- Have HDPE Fusion experience NPS 4–20” (with fusion tickets) and/or Vic Roll Grooving NPS 4–24”
- Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
- Test system for leaks using testing equipment
- Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
- Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system
- Involved in working with power tools and heavy equipment
Minimum Requirements
- CSTS 2020 or SCOT
- WHMIS 2015
- Fall Protection (OSSA Preferred)
- Confined Space (OSSA Preferred)
- Elevated Work Platform (OSSA Preferred)
- Steamfitter / Journeyperson Certificate
- Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol testing is required
