Learn more about our Data Center Infrastructure solutions at SLB is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Construction Manager to lead construction execution within their assigned area or scope on data center projects. The Construction Manager has full field level responsibility for coordinating and supervising all construction activities, ensuring safe, high quality and on schedule delivery. Acting as SLB’s lead representative for their area, this role provides explicit direction to contractors, monitors progress daily and resolves issues in real time to maintain momentum and control across all work fronts. The construction manager is responsible at site for leadership and technical expertise to ensure all construction activities are completed on time. This includes but is not limited to coordinating with client, procurement and commissioning. Position requires presence on construction sites; candidates must be opento domestic relocation based on project schedules and locations. Qualified candidates anywhere in Canada will be considered.



Relocation assistance is available. Roles and Responsibilities Oversee day to day construction execution within assigned areas or disciplines, ensuring alignment with project plans and milestones. Conduct daily site inspections to verify progress, safety, and quality standards. Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and HSE teams to address technical queries and ensure compliance with procedures. Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and coordination sessions with contractors to reinforce expectations and resolve issues. Validate progress claims, manpower levels, and productivity against the approved schedule and plan. Provide accurate input for weekly and monthly progress reports, including forecasts and recovery actions where needed. Support interface management by ensuring smooth coordination between contractors and disciplines working in adjacent areas. Maintain strong working relationships with contractor supervisors and client field representatives. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management. Equivalent progressive site based construction experience in supervisory or management roles will be considered. 20 years of construction experience with significant site leadership responsibility on large scale industrial or infrastructure projects. Proven capability managing multiple subcontractors and high volume work fronts concurrently. Strong understanding of field execution, sequencing, and construction coordination across disciplines. Demonstrated record of safe, high quality, on time delivery in complex, fast track environments. Experience in data center or mission critical facility construction is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Qualified certification in Construction Management or Site Supervision is preferred.
