ABOUT THE CHANCE: ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST

The Senior Electrical Technologist provides technical expertise and leadership in the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of low and high voltage power systems. This role collaborates with customers and project teams to deliver safe, innovative, and high-quality electrical solutions while mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities for low and high voltage power systems.
- Provide field support, including substation maintenance, shutdowns, and technical problem-solving.
- Support project quotations, tender submissions, and technical documentation.
- Deliver technical consultation and training to customers while identifying innovative solutions and process improvements.
- Mentor team members and promote a collaborative, safety-first work environment.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL

- Strong experience with low and high voltage electrical systems, maintenance, and commissioning activities.




- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- A cooperative mindset with a commitment to safety, continuous learning, and customer satisfaction.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team while providing technical leadership and mentorship.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

The position requires an Electrical Engineering Technology diploma and 3 to 10 years of experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
