In this pivotal role, you'll help shape TELUS' CPE device management strategy and drive the evolution of our infrastructure. You'll work at the intersection of telecommunications and cloud technology, designing and implementing scalable solutions that manage devices across our network.What you’ll doShape TELUS' CPE device management strategy by collaborating with senior technical leaders to influence architectural designs that support millions of customer devicesDesign innovative CPE management architectures, ensuring high reliability, optimal performance, and seamless scalabilityBuild and optimize AWS/GCP solutions, enabling large‑scale device management that reduces costs and improves system responsivenessImplement TR-069 and TR-369 protocols with vendors, ensuring efficient provisioning, monitoring, and management that enhances customer experienceDeploy leading monitoring solutions, providing insights that maintain system health, minimize downtime, and accelerate incident resolutionPartner with network engineering, product management, security,
and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions aligned with business goals and customer needsEvaluate emerging technologies with the engineering community to pilot new approaches that enhance TELUS’ CPE management capabilitiesQualificationsWhat you bring5+ years of professional experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP)Proven expertise in cloud infrastructure design and implementationExperience with monitoring and observability tools, ideally Dynatrace, Prometheus and ZabbixProgramming experience with REST APIs, familiarity with Swagger and PostmanExcellent problem‑solving abilities and architectural thinkingStrong communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyGreat-to-havesFamiliarity with CPE management protocols, specifically TR-069 and TR-369Experience with AWS IoT Managed IntegrationsKnowledge of network protocols and telecommunications standardsSalary Range: $95,000-$143,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
