Le travailleur communautaire en bien-être (CLWW) participe à la recherche de stratégies créatives, communautaires et adaptées aux Inuits afin de prévenir certains problèmes sociaux et de santé et de promouvoir des modes de vie sains et le bien-être général de la population. Le CLWW joue un rôle central de liaison entre le centre de santé Tulattavik, les partenaires communautaires et les membres de la communauté.

The Community Liaison Wellness Worker (CLWW) participates in seeking creative, community-based and Inuit-appropriate strategies to prevent targeted health and social problems and to promote healthy lifestyles and overall wellness of the population. The CLWW plays a central role of liaison between Tulattavik Health Center and community partners as well as community members.

Exigences spécifiques / Specific Requirements

- Must hold a Secondary V Diploma or equivalent.
- Be fluent in Inuktitut and/or be a person of Inuit ancestry.
- Knowledge of English spoken and written.
- Knowledge of French would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Inuit customs, beliefs, and traditions.
- Must be able to plan, elaborate, and evaluate programs,



and organize projects.
- Must be able to draft reports.
- Must be perceived as a positive role model within the community.
- Be sensitive, understanding and mature.
- Display a positive attitude and a outstanding sense of responsibility.
- Able to travel and to participate in different training sessions.
- Able to work autonomously as well as with others.
- Experience in community development.

- High cost living: 102.64$ (Vie chère: 102.64$)
- Isolation: 275.60$ (Éloignement: 275.60$)
- Retention: 40.59$ (Rétention: 40.59$)

Notes

- Note 1: All positions may be subject to a selection process, including tests and interviews.
- Note 2: Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement will be given priority when qualifications are equal.
- Note 3: Any person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometres from the locality where they are called upon to perform their duties will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per status. Shared lodging or transit if necessary.
- Nordic premiums apply only when the home port is in one of the northern villages; the amounts of Nordic premiums indicated are "without dependents".
