About the Role

Sky Group of Companies, part of the Sky Group of Companies, is seeking a Construction/Renovation Estimator to support the Senior Estimator in preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates for multi‑residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Estimate Development: Collaborate with the Senior Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and project overhead.
- Technical Analysis: Analyze architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to develop accurate and comprehensive estimate.
- Site Evaluations: Conduct site visits to assess project scope, verify measurements, and collect vital dat.
- Supplier & Subcontractor Engagement: Solicit bids from suppliers and subcontractors, evaluate proposals, and assist in securing optimal pricin.
- Budget & Cost Management: Contribute to budget preparation, ensuring all estimates meet project financial goal.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain open and professional communication with clients, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any project change.
- Data & Document Management: Maintain an organized repository of cost estimates, historical data, and project‑related documentation to drive continuous improvement in accurac.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all estimates align with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirement.

Qualifications

- Education: Post‑secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferre.
- Experience:



Demonstrated experience in a construction estimator role, ideally in multi‑residential or commercial project.
- Legal Requirement: Authorization to work in Canad.

Skills

- Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of construction materials, techniques, and process.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in construction estimation software and Microsoft Office Sui.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy in preparing estimates and evaluating project requiremen.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environme.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem‑solving capabilities with a pragmatic, data‑driven approa.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholdere.
