What can you expect from the role?

- Accepting notice of claim and working with the customer and preferred vendors to resolve the claim quickly and efficiently.
- Confirming policy coverage by ensuring the facts of the claim fall within the scope of the policy.
- Maintaining detailed file records by entering pertinent data into the appropriate systems.
- Processing claims payments within level of authority after verifying claimant's entitlement.
- Initiating salvage and subrogation procedures on assigned files.
- Assisting in managing the property queues.
- Availability to work within the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST.

What you bring to the role?

- A university degree, 2-year college diploma, or CIP designation would be an asset.
- Licensing in New Brunswick, PEI, and Newfoundland would be an asset.




- Experience in auto or property claims (knowledge of property is an asset).
- Familiarity with CICS and CDS systems.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Actively pursuing CIP designation.
- Must be available to participate in catastrophic loss duties across Ontario (potentially on a national basis) if support is required by other regions.
- Bilingual capabilities (French and English) would be an asset.
- Professional, friendly, and courteous in all interactions, whether with customers or co-workers.
- Able to perform well in a busy operation and remain calm under pressure.
- Team player adaptable to a changing environment.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Salary: $50,200 - $92,500
