- Responsible for architecture, design, deployment, and troubleshooting of different software solutions
- Interacts with the business and product teams to influence requirements

- Works closely with the architecture and networking teams, to influence the design, validation, and deployments
- You’ll design, build, and own the tooling that powers Equinix’s API ecosystem. This includes API governance and specifications, SDK/IaC/documentation generation, and developer platform workflows- running on Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
- You’ll lead technically across teams, improve developer experience, and raise reliability through automation (including AI-assisted checks)

- Senior Staff-level experience building and operating production systems or internal developer platforms
- Deep experience with API lifecycle management and governance (OpenAPI,



OAuth2/OIDC, versioning, compatibility)
Hands-on experience with Terraform (providers and modules), Kubernetes, and Linux-based CI/CD
- Robust coding skills in Go or Python or JavaScript
- An automation-first mindset and comfort owning systems end-to-end while leading through influence
- Familiarity with gateways/edge technologies (e.g., Apigee, ALB, Ingress, Envoy) and identity/authorization patterns
- Experience with SDK generation for multi-language clients and compatibility testing
- Experience with developer and documentation platforms (e.g., Docusaurus, Backstage, Confluence), including plugins and build integrations
- Experience with MCP and safe agentic/AI workflows for developer tooling
