As a tenure-track Assistant Professor, you’ll develop a funded research program while teaching essential courses and supervising students. The position also emphasizes collaborations with colleagues and community service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a funded research program in chronic disease interventions
• Instruct undergraduate and graduate kinesiology students
• Supervise and guide students through research projects




• Assist in developing clinical exercise programs
• Engage in professional community service
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Kinesiology or related field
• Experience in research publication and presentations
• Proven ability to acquire research funding
• Instructional skills in exercise for diverse populations
• Excellent communication and engagement abilities
Contribute your knowledge in exercise science and teaching at the University of Alberta to support student success and community health.
