Great opportunities.***If you’d like the chance to make your mark with the world’s largest equipment rental provider, **come build your future with United Rentals!** As an Equipment Shoring Specialist, you are responsible for a variety of tasks in support of branch operations.**What you'll do:*** Return tools to proper storage/keeps tools organized* Load and unload trucks with supervision* Perform Forklift pre-use inspections* Perform basic equipment visual inspection* Vertical Shore assembling, testing and break down* Plate coating and plate go no-go gauge testing* Assist in protected MAPS assembly and Trench Box assembly* Other duties assigned as needed**Requirements:*** High School diploma or equivalent experience* Minimum two years as Equipment Associate or equivalent experience* 1-2 years of experience handling Trench Shoring equipment* Knowledge of steel sheeting and beams* Basic Knowledge of engineered systems inspection and handling(HUB)* Forklift certified* Basic knowledge of shop tools and equipment parts* Can assure and advise the customerThis position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures. ***Why join us?***We don’t just “talk the talk!” We’re an award-winning company (recently named a Glassdoor Best Place to Work in 2026)
