As a member of our team, you will collaborate with us on research, analysis, and reporting tasks in support of the company’s decision making.While in this on‑site position, based in beautiful Vancouver, you will receive guidance and supervision from experienced team members within the Strategic Finance team. The internship is designed to offer exposure to real‑world projects and the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of antibody‑based medicines from target to clinic within Canada.How you might spend your daysGenerating analyses to improve accuracy of forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving robust decision making throughout the organizationAssisting in the optimization of financial models and systems to enhance operations and strategic decision makingConducting independent research on various factors around drug development to support financial modelingContributing to resource allocation reviews for internal programs through supporting report generation, analysis, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to understand progress on programs and re‑forecast investment requirementsSupporting the building of business cases for initiatives and investments as well as tracking progress against execution and realization of valueOwning a number of processes during our quarterly close and quarterly reforecasting process,



and generating materials to support earnings call preparationWe’d love to hear from you ifYou are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related fieldYou have a penchant for logic and data, and a track record of top performanceYou have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and other data and draw actionable insights; prior co‑op or internship experience in finance, consulting, or accounting would be considered an assetYou are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, and are looking forward to gaining exposure to other financial analysis tools such as SAP SAC and Monte‑Carlo simulationsYou have experience with Python (desirable, but not required)You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teamsYou are detail‑oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentYou have a keen interest in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, and are eager to apply your skills towards an impactful missionWhat we offerAbCellera’s hiring range for this role is CAD $3 300 – $3 700 per month, commensurate with your education and job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
