This includes oversight of Golf Operations, Driving Range, Lessons, Pro Shop, Marketing, Events and Sales, Course Operations and Maintenance. The Director, The Redwoods Golf position requires a proven leader with strong business acumen, financial management expertise, and comprehensive knowledge of Canadian golf operations, regulations, and industry best practices.ResponsibilitiesDirectly oversees all aspects of golf course operations, including the driving range, maintenance, clubhouse operations, pro shop, and eventsCoordinate all clubhouse operational needs with TFSE's Food and Beverage and Merchandise departments to ensure seamless service delivery and a quality guest experienceDevelop and execute events and public programming in alignment with TFSE's overall business objectivesCollaborate with leadership to prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgetProvide leadership, coordination and direction in all areas of the golf courseEstablish performance expectations and address performance issues while fostering a positive work culture and environmentMonitor revenue streams and expenses, ensuring profitability and cost controlDevelop and implement long‐term strategies for course improvement, growth,
and sustainabilityImplement and uphold NGCOA Canada best practices for sustainable and efficient facility operationsWork collaboratively with TFSE leadership on strategic initiatives and business decisionsLead all frontline service operations as the primary point of accountability for all public‐facing interactions, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a high‐quality guest experience at every touchpointOther duties as assignedProven leadership and team management skillsKnowledge of golf operations, course maintenance, tournament management, and hospitalityExcellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilitiesStrong analytical skills and business senseProblem‐solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressureDemonstrated budget management experienceCustomer‐focused mindset with the ability to anticipate and meet guest needsAdvanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and golf management systems (e.G., Club Prophet, Lightspeed Golf)Willingness and ability to work a versatile work schedule based upon golf course and event schedulesQualificationsMinimum five to seven years of progressive Management experience in golf or hospitality operationsCompletion of post‐secondary education in a discipline such as Business Administration, Sport or Hospitality Management or other related disciplineWillingness to complete a Police Information CheckValid Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification, or equivalent will be required to be maintained during employmentPGA of Canada Class "A" designation preferred, but not requiredCompensationSalary Range: $139,000 - $156,000Additional InformationPGA of Canada Specialization Management & Leadership Course Website https://www.Redwoods-golf.Com/Employment Duration: Full‐timeContact InformationInterested individuals are asked to submit via email:
