Support Resident rehabilitation at Benevolence Care Centre as a Rehabilitation Assistant. This casual position provides an excellent prospect to implement treatment programs under the guidance of skilled therapists.
As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will assist Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Speech Language Pathologists in carrying out tailored rehabilitative strategies. Assess and document Resident progress, contributing to life-changing rehabilitation journeys while maintaining a commitment to safety and quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute components of treatment plans under supervision
• Observe and document Resident progress effectively
• Teach Residents to use therapeutic and adaptive devices
• Help in adapting seating and mobility aids as needed
• Regularly maintain therapy equipment according to safety standards
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program
• Required valid Driver's License
• Proficient in English communication
• Ability to collaborate well with teammates
• Physically fit for required duties
