Role Overview
CAGIS is recruiting Chapter Coordinators (volunteer positions) for our Oakville/Mississauga chapter. CAGIS is an award‑winning not‑for‑profit organization that supports interest in STEM among girls and gender‑diverse youth, ages 7‑17. Chapters take members on fun, hands‑on adventures to explore STEM with real experts at cool STEM locations!
Responsibilities
- Brainstorm, organize,
and plan monthly events for members
- Oversee chapter operations
- Lead the volunteer team
- Communicate with member families, volunteers, and the national organization
Volunteer Requirements
- Comfortable commuting to the opportunity location
- Willing to undergo a background or police records check
- Over "age of majority" in the province of prospect
