Company DescriptionFerrovial Construction Canada Inc. and VINCI Construction Grands Projets are undertaking the design, build, and finance of the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel (South Civil) package.The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030 and will support an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction, strengthening Ontario’s economy.Project OverviewA six‑kilometre tunnel runs from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River). The role includes reviewing contracts and drawings, preparing procurement lists and RFIs, coordinating civil works with other trades, liaising with stakeholders, and assisting with reporting, documentation,



and as‑built submissions to ensure smooth communication across teams in a fast‑paced environment.Salary range: $95,000 CAD – $135,000 CAD, plus additional benefits.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver strategic insights by providing accurate data analysis and actionable project insights to support decision‑making.Drive documentation excellence by reviewing contract documents, construction drawings, and preparing procurement lists, RFIs, change orders, permits, and traffic/land documentation.Monitor performance by tracking productivity, costs, and progress to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.Liaise with stakeholders, vendors, and owners to communicate schedules and resolve issues proactively.Oversee financial reporting by preparing and presenting detailed job cost reports and contributing to month‑end reconciliation.Ensure compliance by maintaining organized project files and correspondence per company standards and regulatory requirements.Support design and delivery by coordinating preparation and submission of as‑built and design drawings.Optimize construction methods by working with subcontractors and the methods department to define optional construction sequences and methodologies.Manage cross‑trade coordination by aligning civil works with other trades (waterproofing, MEP, architectural) to prevent conflicts and maintain workflow.Perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and problem‑solving skills.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.8–10 years of construction industry experience, including building construction.Ability to read and understand construction drawings and documents.Proficient computer skills in MS Excel, Lotus, MS Word, and MS Project.Robust oral and written communication skills.Self‑motivated with excellent organizational skills.Ability to work accurately under pressure.Adaptable to a flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines.Team‑oriented and collaborative work style.BenefitsCompetitive salary.Comprehensive benefits package:Disability InsuranceDental InsuranceExtended medical insuranceOptional RRSP matchingDiscretionary bonusWhy OTG?Located in downtown Toronto, OTG fosters a positive culture with diversity, family events, and health and wellness initiatives.
