Please join us in striving to please our clients, in aiming to be the best you can be, and in making our Company a success.Job SummaryThe Family Wealth Transition Specialist will work closely with the onboarding Advisor, the Portfolio Manager and the Portfolio Administrator that will be responsible for the administration of the Advisor’s account once the onboarding has been completed. The position will require providing timely, accurate information and service during the transition of the Advisor’s client’s accounts. The Family Wealth Transition Specialist must have excellent people skills and is client-service centric with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize work. The successful candidate is a team player ready to take on new challenges, works well under pressure in an environment with tight deadlines and has excellent problem-solving skills. This position reports to the VP, Practice Management.Key Responsibilities:Onboarding Management Participate in advisor due diligence review, including a due diligence day meeting outlining the transition process and what life at Bellwether looks like, post transitionReview the holdings of the potential advisor’s book of business,



bring forward any potential issues or pain pointsCoordinate an advisor kick off meeting with the Transitions Team, clearly articulating expectations for the transition processSet up and hold a custodian kick off meeting advising of the upcoming transition Arrange for Bulk upload and data populating in Bellwether Onboarding PlatformArrange for advisor office system accessArrange and assist with preparation of paperwork and attend client meetings Review IPS with clientReview Bellwether difference and explain what a client should expectManage the transfer process and provide regular transition status updates to the advisor and team.Act as a liaison between the trading team and the advisor during transition of accountsWork with the Operations Manager to coordinate transition of duties to Portfolio AdministratorClient Relationship Management Partner with our retiring family wealth advisors to develop relationships with their clients as part of their succession planning processFacilitate the seamless transition of clients from retiring financial advisors.Review client portfolios and understand their financial goals and needs.Ensure that there is continuity in the level of service clients receive. Maintain consistent communication, follow up on action items, and provide timely updates on their portfolios.Understand clients' financial situations, risk tolerance, and long-term objectives.Maintain a high level of client service and effectively resolve/escalate client issues as requiredIdentify opportunities for business growth and expansion within existing client relationships.TrainingTrain new advisors and their staff on their roles and responsibilities,



as well as the various Bellwether systems and processes which will include the following:Onboarding processBellwether paperworkCustodian paperworkCustodian systemsHarmonyDocuSignCash Management processCommunicating with your Portfolio Manager and Portfolio AdministratorClient updates and maintenanceThe KYC update processOverview of the client experienceShared DriveProviding company wide support sessions on commonly raised issuesProviding training for current Bellwether processes and integrationsCreating up to date training videosInternal Harmony specific trainingAdvisor Liaison and Financial PlanningProvide support for advisor and advisor admin issuesMaintain dialog with advisor offices regarding their day-to-day activities, and developing and implementing companywide changes at advisors’ offices and PM officesLearn and be proficient in the financial planning software to work closely with the PMs and the VP, Advanced Financial PlanningSpecial ProjectsSubject matter expert on projects designed for our client relationship managers.QualificationsStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, CRM software, portfolio management and accounting softwareKnowledge and application of AML procedures. Past training an assetRegistrable as an AAR or will be within 6 months of joiningOther industry or college courses in financial services or investment management would be an assetCollaborative spirit and comfortable working both in a team environment & on individually assigned tasksQuick learner with a thirst for knowledge who excels in a fast paced, quick-change environmentPost-Secondary education in business is an asset but not a requirement.Compensation & Working conditionsSalary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually, with bonus potential. Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.This is a hybrid role which will report into our Oakville office at least 3 days/week.Some travel may be required in this role.AI StatementBellwether's hiring process may include AI screening for keywords and minimum qualifications.
