Job Description:

Job Overview:

The Operations Manager oversees multiplesites, a portfolio, or a territory, and manages employees or subcontractorsdirectly or indirectly. The Operations Manager is the face of thecompany and the first point of contact for all clients regarding operations,escalations, and work orders. The prime focus of the Operations Manager is toensure that Alpine meets its contractual obligations in line with service andbudget parameters, and to look proactively for ways to increase performance .

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Subcontractor Management

- Participates in the hiring, training, and supervision ofsubcontractors and their activities

- Ensures that subcontractors are compliant withrequirements such as security clearances, GST, business licensing,



WCB,liability insurance, etc

- Ensures that Alpine standards are adhered to throughsubcontractor work

- Conducts periodic audits or site inspections to ensurethat work is completed as required

- Client Relations Management

- Liaises with clients to ensure that performance standardsare met and complaints are addressed

- Participates in same-site growth (additional services,additional square footage, additional fees)

- Contributes to new growth initiatives, including bids

- Expense Management

- Oversees or coordinates equipment repairs

- Ensures subcontractor hours are in line with budget

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Management experience in a fast-paced environment dealingwith a very diverse work force

- Excellent client relationship skills

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and otherprograms to produce reports and trends and results for the account

- Excellent communications and change management skills

- Ability to create programs and tasks to further theoffering to the client, as well as the organizational skills to executesuch programs

- Ability to travel on an active schedule as well beingavailable for any immediate issues that may arise

- Ability to identify positive and negative trends and applyproblem-solving skills to resolve issues

- Janitorial experience in the grocery industry (stripping,waxing, scheduling etc.)

- Professional approach to the client and the diverse workforce in the industry

- Ability to raise concerns with the client on aprofessional level as well to foresee potential issues that may arisebased on conditions and unforeseen events

- Confidence to speak up and push back diplomatically andrespectfully

- Ability to grow sales by identifying adjacent or growthopportunities
