Sanitation Technicians are responsible for keeping all production areas clean and orderly to ensure compliance standards are met and production functions as expected.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning equipment and production areas
- Assisting and guiding team members with sanitation tasks
- Ensuring cleaning meets quality and safety standards
- Following SOPs for chemical and equipment use
- Removing trash and recycling regularly
- Reporting supply needs to your supervisor
- Completing required cleaning documentation
As a Sanitation Technician, you bring:
- Proven sanitation experience in a manufacturing/production/industrial environment (required)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift upwards of 30 lbs
- Valid WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid attention to detail
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Strong multitasking and time‑management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks
