About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate leader to join a Child and Family Services team as an Intervention Supervisor. In this role, you will provide leadership and guidance to frontline staff while supporting the delivery of services that prioritize the safety, wellbeing, and long-term outcomes of children and families. You will play a key role in shaping practice, supporting your team, and contributing to meaningful work within the community.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Lead, mentor, and support a team of caseworkers delivering Child and Family Services
- Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and case consultation
- Oversee foster care and support case planning, intake, assessment, and permanency planning
- Participate in and support court-related work and agreement management
- Step into caseload support as needed
- Collaborate with community partners, agencies, and stakeholders
- Contribute to program development and continuous improvement
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff
- Monitor team performance, maintain statistics, and provide regular reporting on program outcomes




- Review and monitor program expenses and budgets
- Participate in on-call and intake responsibilities as required
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Director

What You Bring

- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in child intervention in a supervisory capacity
- Delegation (or eligibility for delegation) within Alberta
- Registration (or eligibility) with the Alberta College of Social Workers
- Strong understanding of the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act and related legislation
- Experience working with Indigenous children, families, and communities is considered an asset
- Knowledge of CICIO is considered an asset
