Payrate: $44.66/hr, plus a $4.00/hr premium for working night shift.
Night shift: 10:30 pm to 7:30 am, Monday to Friday. Overtime will be required on some weekends.
Applicants must be comfortable working around meat products (beef, pork, chicken, seafood, soy, etc.).
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a Licensed Electrician. Proof of apprenticeship is an asset.
- 2-5 years' industrial mechanical/electrical experience, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and positive communication skills.
- Ability to work in wet and cold/warm environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setup, maintenance,
and continuous improvement of our food processing and packaging equipment.
- Understand and maintain Packaging and Process Control Systems.
- Electrical equipment (troubleshooting & repair).
- Electrical equipment installations in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide support to source and prepare parts for all preventative and reactive work.
- Prepare basic dimensioned sketches.
- Read and understand technical bulletins, manuals, instructions, and blueprints.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual electrical & mechanical PMs.
