Kelly Services' client is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join its Canadian Tax Team in Grimsby, Ontario. This position is ideal for a designated accounting professional with strong Canadian tax experience who thrives in a collaborative corporate environment and enjoys working on tax compliance, reporting, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the Canadian transfer pricing reporting process.
- Prepare transfer pricing reports, tax schedules, and support intercompany agreement execution.
- Prepare and review Canadian corporate income tax returns and supporting documentation.
- Prepare and review tax provision entries and forecasts for current and deferred taxes.
- Support commodity tax reporting, remittances, and compliance activities.
- Assist with tax audits by gathering documentation, preparing responses, and liaising with internal stakeholders.
- Research and document technical tax matters and provide recommendations.
- Participate in projects involving system enhancements,
automation, and process improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and business teams to assess tax impacts of business decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Accounting Designation (CPA or equivalent).
- Minimum 1 year of dedicated Canadian corporate and/or commodity tax experience .
- 8+ years of accounting or finance experience , preferably within a large corporate environment.
- Robust knowledge of Canadian tax compliance, reporting, and tax accounting.
- Advanced Excel and overall strong computer skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP .
- Experience with data automation tools and process improvement initiatives.
- Prior experience supporting tax audits and transfer pricing activities.

- Flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM .
