As a Compensation and Benefits Technician, you will play an essential role in payroll accuracy, employee records management, and benefits administration. Main Responsibilities
- Process payroll in its entirety for a group of approximately 350 employees while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and internal procedures;
- Monitor employee records, payroll transactions, vacations, leaves, absences, statutory holidays, and various benefits;
- Prepare payroll deductions and participate in year-end activities (T4 slips, tax forms, annual filings, etc.);
- Administer employee benefit programs, including group insurance and pension plans;
- Manage employee leave files, including unpaid leave, disability claims, parental leave, workplace injury claims, and retirements;
- Update and maintain employee information within HR and payroll management systems;
- Serve as a resource person for employees and managers regarding compensation, benefits, and attendance-related inquiries;
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team to ensure the accuracy, consistency,
and proper flow of information;
- Participate, as needed, in fiscal year-end activities;
- Perform any other related duties as required.

Requirements
- College diploma (DEC) in Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field;
- More than five years of relevant experience in payroll processing, compensation, or benefits administration;
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations;
- Excellent command of written and spoken French;
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and Word;
- Comfortable using payroll and human resources management systems;
- Solid communication, organizational, and employee service skills;
- High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail when handling confidential information;
- Experience with an HR and payroll management software system (asset).
Salary: $60,000 per year, based on experience.
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday.
Status: Permanent.
