The salary range for this role is CDN $115,000 - 175,000 per year. Final salary will be based on relevant and applicable experience, education,

We are committed to ensuring fairness and inclusivity by relying on the expertise from a team of professional recruiters for the application reviews, interviews, and qualification assessments.ResponsibilitiesTypical responsibilities:Building services systems and equipment design including heavy industrial HVAC, fire protection, compressed air, dust collection, plumbing, potable water and drainage related to mining and metal processing or similar processing industries.Performing calculations for utility, heating, venting and dust systems and equipmentPrepare HVAC, Fire Protection, Dust collection Design CriteriaPrepare HVAC equipment, Dust collection, Plumbing and Drainage, Fire Protection equipment specifications and datasheetsDevelopment of flow schematics and P&IDs.Evaluating vendor equipment bidsReviewing project documents prior to issue for scope and presentation, including checking for technical accuracyOther engineering duties as directedApplicants must be authorized to work lawfully in Canada without sponsorship from Wood, now or in the future.QualificationsWhat makes you remarkable?At Wood,

It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges.ExpectedUndergraduate or Graduate degree in Mechanical EngineeringFamiliarity with HVAC design codes, calculations, equipment selection and specification developmentProven experience in applying ASHRAE Standards, ACGIH, Canadian Building Code, National Plumbing Code, CSA, ASME as it pertains to engineering design of large industrial projectsProfessional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada with the ability to register in the province of Saskatchewan is required.Mining and metal processing, or similar experienceExcellent communication skillsAbility to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skillsDesirable5+ years of related design experience is an assetProven expertise using HAP and Fathom.
