As a Quality Care Manager, report to the Director of Care or Director of Health and Wellness. Your main responsibility will be to ensure high-quality resident care by effectively managing nursing teams and health practices within regulatory frameworks. You will work collaboratively to promote resident satisfaction and continuous improvement in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement resident satisfaction and quality improvement initiatives
• Guide nursing staff in care assessment and planning
• Facilitate hiring, scheduling, and staff performance management




• Address care-related issues with residents and advocates
• Lead staff education and development initiatives
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years in geriatrics or long-term care supervision
• Registered nurse with valid licensing or eligibility
• Experience in a multi-unionized health environment
• Robust communication and interpersonal abilities
• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices and legislation
