Your Opportunity The Office of the General Counsel at BDO Canada LLP is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Manager to support our Commercial Contracting practice. This is a net new role and is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative and legal support. Review and analyze a broad range of commercial contracts (including engagement letters, MSAs, NDAs, RFPs), identify key risks and advise on practical mitigation strategies Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between contractual obligations and operational practices Serve as a key point of contact for contract-related inquiries, providing clear, practical guidance to internal clients Support and, where appropriate, lead contract negotiations in accordance with established guidelines and risk tolerances Develop, implement, and continuously improve contract management processes, including intake, tracking, and lifecycle management Assist in the development, maintenance, and optimization of contract templates, playbooks, and internal guidance materials Support reporting and metrics related to contracting activity, turnaround times, and risk trends How do we define success for your role? Contract management experience in complex information technology (IT) consulting, IT outsourcing, and IT professional services projects will be a vital asset The ability to communicate, draft and negotiate agreements at an advanced level in French is an asset, but not required Demonstrated experience managing contract workflows and improving processes You demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, integrity, and a high degree of attention to detail You have strong critical thinking skills and a high level of initiative,



with an ability to proactively solve problems and propose solutions Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines You have excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools is an asset The expected range of compensation for this role is $93,000 to $141,000 annually Why BDO?
