Overview

We are looking for a Bilingual Financial Services Representative to use expertise to identify and meet the needs of clients, offering right‑sized advice and product solutions that improve the financial, physical, and mental well‑being of Canadians. The role supports special client‑facing initiatives, develops new clients, preserves and grows assets and insurance managed by the centre, and provides superior client service while handling inquiries and adhering to compliance standards.

Location

Canada (including Toronto, ON; London, ON; Montreal, QC). Versatile for candidates across Canada.

Responsibilities

- Proactively contact clients and answer inbound inquiries.
- Provide advice and account / policy maintenance services using appropriate planning processes.
- Maintain a compliant practice.
- Improve client engagement to support the centre’s business development objectives.
- Promote client portals and e‑delivery options for statements, confirmations and marketing communications.
- Contribute to continuous refinement of the business model.
- Keep marketing and business development plans current and up to date.
- Gather and analyze customer insights and adjust program objectives and delivery as needed.
- Educate customers about products, solutions and services offered by Canada Life / Quadrus.

Qualifications

- Bilingual – fluent in French and English; the position regularly serves clients with English and French needs.
- Experience in the financial insurance industry, Canadian banking, insurance, or financial advice channels with emphasis on investment fund products and services.
- Valid life‑insurance license (LLQP) required; IFIC license or willingness to obtain.
- Valid mutual‑fund registration optional or willingness to obtain.
- Strong knowledge of savings, investment and insurance products and financial planning concepts, and understanding of the regulatory climate.
- Post‑secondary degree or equivalent work experience.
- Customer service focus.

- Well‑developed presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Quick thinking and innovative.
- Working toward or completion of relevant certification programs such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designations, Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC).
- Sound working knowledge of MS Office products, Investment Centre and Salesforce.
- Must pass a criminal record and credit background check.

Compensation

Base salary: $59,800 – $99,700 annually (base salary only; variable compensation may be available). Additional details regarding total rewards will be discussed during the recruitment process.
