Philip Fernandes Designs is looking for an organized, detail-driven Architectural Technologist with a preference for candidates with 5+ years of experience in residential and commercial construction. What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of Canadian construction experience preferred, in residential and/or commercial projects
- Bachelor of Architecture or Architectural Technology Diploma
- Proficiency in AutoCAD to produce detailed construction drawings
- Solid understanding of the Ontario Building Code and local by‑laws
- Solid grasp of residential construction methods and detailing practices
- Strong written, verbal, and reading skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SketchUp, Photoshop, or InDesign is an asset
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing working drawings — site plans, floor plans, elevations, wall sections, and details
- Producing detailing for residential and commercial projects
- Conducting by-law and code compliance reviews for each project
- Maintaining and developing office drafting standards in AutoCAD
