Overview An Initial AI Screening will be conducted for this role Location : Toronto Responsibilities This role will be focusing on the portfolio management experience, shaping a new tool for reporting solutions and connecting with cross functional partners, driving discovery and prioritization of features, visioning, workshops and mentoring other designers on the team. Essential program/technology/software knowledge Understanding of system thinking, Figma, Mural or any other collaboration toll like Miro. As well as standard research tools like usertesting.Com Must-have Skills I’m looking for someone who goes beyond running studies and can shape the research strategy. Should be able to identify the right problems to study, align research with product and portfolio priorities and influence the roadmaps and decisions Comfortable with complexity and regulated environments. Strong partner to design and product and excellent at storytelling A minimum of 7 years of experience in Design Research Technical understanding of design research theory / design research tools Working knowledge of a variety of design research methodologies Experience working on cross-functional teams Nice-to-have Skills Bachelor or Master’s in HCI, Design, UX Design, or related fields. Strong storytelling showing why decisions were made,
not just what was designed. MA/MS degree or certification in Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Information Studies, Design (e.G. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field.
