Senior Bilingual Business Development Manager Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Employment type: Full time Seniority level: Mid‑Senior Level Compensation: Expected Salary Range: $90,000 – $140,000 per year Overview Partner with a Sales Executive to drive new business development and relationship management within key intermediary distribution channels across Canada. Responsibilities Develop new relationships through targeted prospecting activities and identify potential face‑to‑face meeting candidates for the external sales executives. Partner with external Sales Executive and internal Sales Associate to create and execute specific regional sales plans. Achieve sales and sales‑activity targets while adhering to Vanguard's Code of Ethics. Raise awareness of Vanguard's investment products and related services through prospecting activities (cold calling, direct mail campaigns, industry conferences). Host face‑to‑face meetings with advisors, deliver presentations and client seminars when appropriate. Maintain intermediary relationships by understanding clients' philosophies and preferences, acting as a trusted advisor and matching needs with Vanguard products and services. Develop deep expertise in capital markets, investment management, and marketplace developments to position Vanguard products effectively. Follow up on sales calls, provide administrative and sales support to external sales. Support development of national account strategy and follow up on dealer‑specific initiatives. Lead or participate in other projects or duties as assigned.



Qualifications Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of experience and training. Minimum five years financial services experience, including at least three years of ETF experience (mutual fund wholesaling preferred). CSC required; pursuit of CIM, MBA, orCFA preferred. Superior oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated executive presence, poise and presentation skills. Ability to work independently, adapt quickly and travel for business. Excellent relationship‑management skills. Thorough knowledge of investments and competitive environment; familiarity with Vanguard an asset. Proficient with PC and MS Office; understanding of CRM systems. Preferred experience with Morningstar Direct and Bloomberg. Travel Travel required.
