What You’ll Be Doing Project Management: Manages a portfolio of approved projects through the project lifecycle, applying standardized project management methodologies. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships and communications channels with senior leadership and internal business clients across all functions to understand business needs, direction and intent. Incorporates effective change management controls, and develops and executes change management plans to ensure the effective adoption of new business processes and tools. Delivers consistently, timely and accurate status reports by developing and tracking project KPIs and maintaining project control documents (project schedules, RAID logs, budgets, etc.) to enable program and portfolio level reporting. Effectively manages vendor relationships through the lifecycle. Ensures that projects are well-defined, tracked, and communicated in a consistent and effective manner. Supports team members in identifying, securing and coordinating the engagement of internal and external resources, vendors and expertise to achieve project objectives. Identifies and manages dependencies between programs and projects that affect priority sequencing and resource allocation decisions. Supports the assessment of emergent projects and prepares insights and recommendations to improve on-time,



on-budget and on-benefit delivery. Support the ongoing development of the department: develop processes, tools and resources related to portfolio, program and project oversight and management. Represent and promote the PMO to the organization and drive understanding and consistent usage of its purpose and processes. Support team members and facilitate professional development through leadership, coaching and training. Contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity by ensuring staff are represented, valued, and heard across identities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline (university degree). 10 years of progressive project management experience, including 5+ years with agile methodology in software/website development. Advanced user of both waterfall and agile project scheduling software. Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. 5 years of experience applying recognized change management methodologies. Experience in executive-level engagement. Experience in remotely managing cross-functional teams. Experience managing and developing budgets over $1M. 2 to 5 years of supervising staff is an asset. Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with ability to handle difficult conversations. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to write clearly and succinctly for varied audiences; communicate with both technical and non-technical users. Experience working in a team-oriented environment. Bilingualism (French/English) is highly preferred, with French being advantageous for nationwide operations.
