Job Description

Colchester East Hants Health Centre is seeking a full-time Urologist, preferably with Canadian certification.

Responsibilities

- Be part of a team of Urologists serving Truro and extending to include the entire Northern Zone of Nova Scotia Health.
- Provide a full range of specialized surgical, ambulatory and emergency care to provide comprehensive urologic care
- Provide care and coordination of community-based care, and secondary and tertiary level health care.
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities.

Expected Hours

- Permanent Full-Time
- On-call coverage for Truro and the Northern Zone as part of a 1 in 4 call rota.

Located in Truro, it serves as the main acute care facility for the residents of Colchester and East Hants Counties, serving a population of approximately 75,000.
