Position Summary: An Over-the-Counter Associate assists customers, properly zones the assigned area, performs tasks delegated by the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager, and maintains modular and feature presentation while providing exemplary customer service in accordance with Wal‑Mart’s Basic Beliefs and values. What You’ll Do: Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all privacy practices consistent with the Privacy Act. Maximize department sales and profit under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager. Rotate stock and check for expired products. Zoning the department. Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels. Keep the area N.C.O. and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids. Maintain zero pricing errors (i.E., Scan Credibility Program). Calibrate equipment used in the prescription filling process. The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $16.65 per hour. The final rate will be determined based on relevant experience.
