Purpose

Responsibilities

- Diagnostic Expertise: Utilize your advanced knowledge of heavy‑duty equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a diverse range of heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and knowledge‑sharing work setting.
- Technical Analysis: Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements, modifications, or upgrades to enhance productivity, safety, and efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and regulations to maintain a protected work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used,



ensuring a thorough and organized documentation process.

Training and Education

- Valid certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or Truck and Coach Technician or Automotive Service Technician.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy‑duty equipment maintenance and repair.
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment.
