Job DescriptionVibrance Pharmacy is seeking a Part-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Calgary, AB. This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and providing support to the pharmacy team.SUMMARYThe Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for dispensary duties including prescription entry/processing, answering telephone calls, preparing prescriptions for Pharmacist review, and other administrative duties as required to support the pharmacy team. The Pharmacy Assistant is expected to support the pharmacy team in all aspects of the operations in order to uphold the pharmacies standard of care.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESGather and enter patient information in computer systemResponsible for accurate processing of prescriptions, including new prescription data entry, processing refills, picking/labelling/packaging of medications, insurance submission, and preparation of prescriptions for delivery and pick upBlister packagingCompounding of prescriptionsMaintaining accurate drug inventory including purchasing and receiving medications and supply items, rotating stock, checking expiration dates, and performing scheduled inventory countsPlace and receive orders for stick and maintain inventoryProvide exemplary service to patients, physicians, other health care professionals and the general publicAdherence to all relevant guidelines including policies, standard operating procedures and any applicable regulatory requirements as set out by the provincial regulatory bodyResponsible for the safe and appropriate storage of medications,
