Title: Service Design Consultant Duration: 06+ months Location: Toronto, ON Hybrid: 4 days onsite Overview: Client is Commercial Banking is expanding its Process Transformation team and seeking a highly skilled Design Thinking / Service Design Consultant to drive customer-centric transformation initiatives across the organization. This role will focus on redesigning banking services and processes through design thinking methodologies, service design principles, and stakeholder collaboration. This is an exciting opportunity for a consultant-minded professional who thrives in workshop environments, enjoys solving complex business challenges, and can influence organizations to think differently about how services are designed and delivered. Responsibilities Lead and facilitate Design Thinking and Service Design workshops with business stakeholders and leadership teams. Conduct current-state process assessments to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Gather insights from stakeholders, customers, and business partners to understand service delivery challenges. Develop customer-centric future-state service models and process recommendations. Drive process transformation initiatives focused on improving client and employee experiences.



Lead stakeholder discussions and build alignment across cross-functional teams. Translate workshop outcomes into actionable recommendations and transformation roadmaps. Challenge traditional ways of working and introduce innovative approaches to service and process design. Support transformation programs across multiple commercial banking initiatives, including lending, onboarding, service delivery, and operational modernization. Required Qualifications Experience leading Design Thinking workshops and ideation sessions. Robust background in Service Design and customer experience transformation. Proven experience in Process Transformation and business process improvement initiatives. Exceptional workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience interacting with senior leaders and executive stakeholders. Strong consulting, presentation, communication, and influencing capabilities. Previous involvement in Commercial Banking transformation initiatives. Ability to manage ambiguity and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. Experience within Banking, Financial Services, or Consulting environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience conducting Design Thinking and Service Design engagements within large, complex organizations.
