Role and Facility Information

Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) is located in Williams Lake, BC. CMH is a Level 2 community hospital undergoing extensive renovation, with planned completion in 2026. The redevelopment will add 25 inpatient beds, a current emergency department, and a mental‑health unit.

Position: Part‑time Urologist
Location: Williams Lake, BC
Hours: Part‑time – flexible schedule

Responsibilities

Provide general urologic care to adult and adolescent patients. Manage complex incontinence and reconstructive urology cases when possible. Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality care, and professionalism.

Qualifications

- Medical degree (MD or DO) with current CPSBC license.
- Valid Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership.
- Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).
Preference for candidates with experience in reconstructive urology and complex incontinence management.
- Strong work ethic,



excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to quality patient care.

- Eligible for Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) remuneration including:
• Retention Premium 12.32%
• Retention Flat Fee $19,092
• Relocation Funding $9,000–$15,000 (based on move location)
• Recruitment Incentive $3,750 (based on 0.25 FTE)
- Rural CME allowance of $4,840 after four years in practice.
- Loan forgiveness programs for BC or Canada student loans.
